CSR

Responsible business practice not only creates wider benefits for society and contributes to our commercial success, but also serves as a guide to what CPS represents for our customers. CPS’ commitment to doing business responsibly is evidenced by the attainment of various internationally recognised accreditations such as ISO standards, which we work hard to achieve and maintain, but also in the way we conduct our day to day relationships with customers, suppliers, communities, investors and employees based on ethical values and behaviours. Doing business responsibly helps us earn trust and attract and retain talent.

The Leadership Team (LT) is responsible for assessing the impact of corporate responsibility issues on the business and setting appropriate policies and the CEO is the LT member with designated responsibility.

During their induction process all employees are required to read the company HR policies. All company policies are available on the company Intranet site for future reference. Our policies are also publicly available to interested parties.

Ethics

We recognise the importance of credibility, integrity and trustworthiness to our success as a business. We are committed to upholding high ethical standards in all our operations, everywhere in the world. We believe in the principles of honesty, fairness, and respect for individual and community freedoms.

Equality & Human Rights

CPS Service and Support Ltd fully supports the principles set out in the UN Declaration of Human Rights, and the guidelines of the International Labour Organisation (ILO). This includes respecting diversity, supporting the drive to abolish child labour and complying with the national legal requirements regarding the minimum wage and working hours.

 Our People

Recognising the importance of really understanding our people to get the best from them is key to a successful future. In our continuing efforts to meet CPS’ internal and external customers’ needs, we continually strive to observe and assess individual, departmental and organisational needs.

Environment

The Executive Team is committed to achieving the most appropriate standards of environmental management relevant to our business activities and to ensuring that our associate businesses meet all regulatory, legal and other business requirements.

Health & Safety

We have a responsibility to safeguard the health and safety of all stakeholders affected by our operations and keeping employees safe and secure when they are at work and travelling on business is a priority.

Information Security

As a trusted business partner to security-conscious customers, we ensure that our internal processes and procedures enable us to maintain the highest levels of physical and IT security that our customers and suppliers expect of us and that we should expect of ourselves as a professional solutions provider.
